Welcome to Aikido: 'The Way of Harmony' suitable for all ages and abilities. Aikido uses body positioning and timing to break an 'attacker's posture - it's not reliant on strength. Train with others at your own pace whilst having FUN and connecting to what it is that makes us human. We're not here to break one another - only to engender a sense of respect to others.

Practising Aikido makes the world a better place! It's non competitive: polishing your individual spirit is where we're at.

Choose a session time that suits you from the list below. If you have any questions all, just get in touch and please do arrive 15-20 mins early to get changed and settled in. Thank you!




Hello, I'm Anita and I've been practising Aikido for over ten years in many places including Japan.

I don't want to fight people, I want to understand and connect with them from place of safety. 

I love Aikido because it's a FUN, gentle yet effective way to create respect between individuals. It's a great way to socialise and  keep fit whilst reaching a level of understanding with people from all walks of life. 

 I'm now living my dream of creating and running my own dojo (place of training) and I hope you'll join me on the mat to experience how these seemingly simple movements create harmony from friction.
